This was an easy and quick pattern.
2nd Sorry I forgot to post the sourse and yarn.
The pattern is called the Rustic Celtic. I found it in KNIT Ponchos Wraps & Scarves I got my copy of the book at ACMoore with my 40% off coupon but the price is 21.99. After I bought it I saw it on KP’s site for less :doh: but c’est la vie.
The yarn was Paton’s Classic Merino Aran (my new favorite yarn)
The pattern called for a chunky yarn and #10 1/2s but 9s worked fine with the Merino Aran

I love doing cables. The only problem that cable newbies may have with this pattern is that it requires that you work with 2 cable needles at the same time. But trust me it’s not hard, it just takes getting used to.

i also got some malabrigo not available here in the UK. Its lovely and soft and I can’t wait to start on it but I haven’t a clue what to make. I have four skeins
