Lace hat pattern

I’m trying to find the perfect pattern to make a hat with my qiviut - something light and airy, elegant, but not frilly. Thin cables like Shedir would be OK (tho I already did Shedir and would prefer something new) but I think I want to do it a little lacy. Perhaps something that reminds me of the ocean, snow, or mountains - something that fits with Alaska. I’ve been googling but haven’t found anything… I would prefer a free pattern because a) I’m broke after buying the yarn; b) I’m broke to begin with; and c) My very favorite projects are doubleknit hats, so I don’t think I’d ever use a book of lace patterns again. Does anybody know of any I might have missed? I’ve founda couple, but I’m having a hard time picturing how they would turn out in black yarn.

some more place to look.

How about
http://www.carylldesigns.com/wavy_feathers_qiviut_cap.htm
it calls for 1/2 ounce Qiviut Fingering weight yarn.

What is Quivit yarn?:eyebrow2:

Hey!
Quiviut is musk ox wool. It is collected either from where it has rubbed off/snagged naturally (such as on thorns) or by running the musk oxen past combs. They are not sheered. It is VERY warm, and VERY soft.
