This is the second time I’ve seen this with this yarn, a knot in one ply of a 4-ply yarn. What would you do? Clean it up and knit with it? Cut it out and start fresh with a join?
I couldn’t get on the site yesterday to reply. I usually leave those alone and work them in. I don’t know if that’s a good idea or not though!
I’d cut it out and leave tails to weave in. This is one of the most annoying things I find in yarns. My current yarn is riddled with poorly done joins requiring me to cut it and weave in ends. With a knot like this I find it never looks good to leave it and there’s the risk that it will work loose. I ended up with holes in a bath mat because I ignored such things in the cotton yarn I was using.
