I ordered from them recently - received very quickly and packaged perfectly. For some of the less expensive yarns, I consider them THE place to shop. Cheaper than Joann’s with a coupon!

i ordered enough yarn from them for two of the Sock Monkey hats and afghans pattern found in the Happy Hooker (Debbie Stoller’s new crochet book)

i like some of the other patterns, but i absolutely HAD to make the sock monkey face. i’m still learning how to crochet; it’s not the stitches, it’s the pattern and knowing which hole to jab the hook through that trips me up.

bernat’s denim-style was NOT available in rodeo tan at my local hobby lobby, though they had many other colors, and michael’s website states that bernat’s softee chunky is not available in the U.S., just Can.

argh. it’s a case of designer trying to be helpful by using readily available, not expensive yarns, but it didn’t work, grrr.

however, by ordering online, i think i saved $$$. knitting-warehouse.com was cheaper than Jo-Anns, and used UPS for shipping and had a flat rate for shipping too, which always makes me happy. i also liked being able to track my pkg until it arrived, yay!

so i would definitely shop there again!
