Knitting Shop closure

Hi, apologies if this is in the wrong section. Please move if it is.

My mother used to own a wool shop in Reading, Berkshire up until a few years ago. She had a lot of stock leftover and was selling it to friends and at weekends at car boot sales and the like.

She was very recently diagnosed with cancer and passed away. I have had to return from my life in Canada to help my father with everything including the sale of everything that’s left.
My father isn’t very tech savvy so he can’t sell things at a slow pace on eBay or Etsy.
Anyway to the point I’m looking for someone to purchase most of it or lots of it at a heavily discounted rate. I don’t know if anyone on this forum is interested or if someone could help with suggestions on how to sell it? All of this is going to help my father in the future so I’d like to not risk selling it all for £50 on eBay.

I’m currently making an inventory but to start there is about 250 balls of Stylecraft wool and similar amounts for sirdar and hayfield. There is also a lot of needles and crochet accessories and lots (1000s) of buttons.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
John

Welcome to KnittingHelp!
I’m very sorry to hear about your mother. It’s good of you to pitch in and help your dad.
I’m not sure how much we can help but we can see who responds. It may help to post a photo of some of the yarn if you’d like to do so.
You might consider Ravelry which is a large site for knitters, crocheters and weavers.

My condolences to you and family.
I would be interested in purchasing some wool.
