Hi!
I’m reading the pattern below, to be worked on circular needles, and am confused with what the right side/wrong sides mean. I had these questions:
-
When it says “noting first row is wrong side” does that mean the side facing me is wrong side? Or is it the side facing down/not the side I am looking at?
-
For 1st row, it indicates that I should be starting on the right side, correct? Assuming the side facing me is wrong side, do I flip my work over to the “right side” to begin the first row and continue the rest of the blanket on the “right side”?
-
How do I cast off on the wrong side? Do I flip it back over again to cast off on the “wrong side” (so the side that was originally facing me)?
This is the pattern:
Cast on 115 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed
as follows:
Knit 5 rows (garter st), noting first row is WS.
1st row: (RS). *K3. Sl1P. Rep from * to last 3 sts. K3.
2nd row: *K3. Sl1Pwyif. Rep from * to last 3 sts. K3.
3rd row: As 1st row.
4th row: *K3. P1. Rep from * to last 3 sts. K3.
Rep last 4 rows for Slip St Pat until Blanket measures approx 59" [150 cm], ending on a
1st or 3rd row of pat.
Knit 4 rows (garter st). Cast off knitwise (WS).
Thank you!!
