Hi everyone.
I’m a young designer trying to figure out how to make patterns for knitting machine (by pattern I mean pattern-making, not stitch pattern or decorative motifs)
So far I followed basic patterns and kind a played around with it, but couldnt really come out with the best results…
I’d love if you guys have an idea for a computer program, tutorials, or any knowledge on how to make an origional custom made patterns, just like you would with flat pattern making with woven materials.
I’ll add that my style is well-fitted garments, and not so much around oversized pullovers and etc… I’ve been suggested to follow the “cut-n-sew” method in order to achieve more presice results, but it’s just not realistically possible to preduce a quantity with that method (I do sell my garments)
I’d appreciate any input, ideas, suggestions and what not.
