I really wanna know how to knit letters into a scarf… but i have absolutly NO idea how. All i know is the chart… i tried to do it but i dont know how . Is there any videos out there that shows me how? please post them! im dieing to knit something like this!!! or a site or anything!! that will help me!!! thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!
Knitting with a different color motif is called Intarsia. Amy has video in the Advanced section, and if you google Intarsia, there is a good site out there that’s exclusively for that.
do the letters need to be obvious? if you google Madame DeFarge’s Knitting Cipher, you will pull up the code she used to knit peoples names into her projects for “the list” in Tale of Two Cities
