Knitting into the back of a yarn over

when you knit into the back of a yarn over is it like when you are increasing when you knit in the back, if not how do i knit into the back of a yarn over?

Yeah, it is like when you do a knit front back (kfb). You do it behind the left needle and enter the loop rather like it was a purl (right to left).

It’s like knitting into the back leg of the stitch, but you’re not doing both knit into the front leg as well as the back leg. Look on the Glossary page for ktbl.
