I just ordered myself some size 6 DPN’s and some scarlet and gray yarn (GO BUCKEYES!!!) for beer coozies…never knitted in the round before. The how-to video on this site seems simple enough, but it it as easy as it looks? Any common mistakes/tips-n-tricks that you guys know of?
Beer coozies, huh? :teehee:
The hardest part of working with dpns is starting. It can be very awkward to start that first row, joining. If it is a problem, work a few rows back and forth before joining. You’ll have a little gap, but you can sew that up with the yarn tail.

Heck yeah! :woot: Lol!! Can’t have too many of those… I could’ve sworn that I got the pattern from this site. I have it printed out in my knitting bag that is unfortunately not with me right now. My boyf and I are big time Buckeye fans and I found some yarn on KP that’s PERFECT!! It’s spun with perfectly colored strands of scarlet and gray (not sure if “spun” is the correct terminology or not…lol). I know when I show him the FO’s he’ll prolly squeal like a girl!:happydance:
It can be much easier once you’ve done it once. No more turning your work. I always find the more I do a new technique the easier and faster I can knit.
