I know how to read a crochet graph and even know how to make my own but when it comes to knitting I’m lost.
I looked at some knitting graph paper and just the squares themselves looks like it would be hard to read an actually pattern on.
I understand regular graph paper won’t work but is there another way that makes it a little easier to read?
Also, I would like to try a knitted graph for beginner knitters so please feel free to post links also.

I guess some graphs are just clearer to read than others. I haven’t worked on alot of them so it still kind of new to me.
Is the main thing that as long as the design is made on graph paper for knitting, it will work up correctly?
If you draw on regular graph paper with square boxes, the design will become distorted when you knit it up. That’s because knit sts are wider than they are tall. Knitting graph paper takes that into account. See if the methods for charting a pattern recommended at this siteare of any help.
