Knitted Wedding Gift

I would like to make a knitted gift for a wedding…any ideas? I would like to do something fairly small, don’t want to get bogged down with an afghan in the Texas summer heat.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

Pillow? Kitchen towels and dish cloths? Placemats? Table Runner? Doilies?

I am working on a shawl for a wedding gift. Given…the wedding is over a year away…but I thought it might be nice…

Wine cozy w/ nice bottle of wine & wine glasses, maybe cheese/crackers too.

Several market bags.

That’s what I was going to say, too. All good ideas here!

I have knit several ring barer pillows for special brides.

This is what I was going to suggest, too.

I agree with poster number 2. And don’t rule out the afghan. It won’t always be summer and something they can use later would be welcome as well. An afghan would be nice unless it never gets cool there at all.

Hi everyone! I’m new to this forum but I have a great pattern for a wedding gift and here it is:

You can add the initials of the bride and groom if you like. Enjoy!

:knitting:

You can make washcloths & a matching scrubbie- it would take you 1 night =) http://berlinswhimsy.typepad.com/berlins_whimsy/2008/05/knitted-kitchen-scrubbie-tutorial.html
