Knit yo knit

I have a pattern that says to Knit yo Knit in next stitch how can I do that?

You knit the first stitch, then bring the yarn to the front between the needles as if you are going to purl, then you knit the next stitch. The yarn will go over the needle an extra time and create the yo stitch–an increase that looks like an eyelet.

I think that she needs to knit, yo, knit all in the same stitch. So that would be…knit the first stitch but don’t slip the original stitch off the left needle, then bring your yarn to the front between the needles and from that position, knit the same stitch again. Now, slip the original stitch off the left needle. You have increased 2 stitches.

 Knitqueen is right. Sorry if I confused you!!!
