Does anyone know how to do this ?
There may be a video about this on this site, I’m not sure. Look in the glossary and it may tell how to do it pretty simply.
What you do is to insert your right hand needle into the center of the vee just below the loop on the left hand needle. Then you yarn around and knit there as if it were a normal knit. When you have done that you then let the loop above the stitch you knitted into fall off the left hand needle.
This stitch will not seem to do much of anything different than a normal knit stitch, but after several of them are lined up over each other you can see that it is making a different effect than a regular knit.
There is a video - look on the Glossary page under k-b. There’s also a tutorial at the Knitting Fiend site. Merigold explained it well, and it does take several rows for the pattern to take shape.
Thank you for the advice.
I just found the videos!!! Thank you!
