Would appreciate help with this pattern. I’m knitting the front of the Single polo neck sweater. The first sentence under the heading Front has lost me. “Work as given for back etc” . 1. Im assuming I do the armhole shaping but do i start that 22 row earlier than when I started the back”? Thanks. caro
Welcome to the forum!
One easy way to work this is to count 20 rows down from the start of the shoulder shaping on the back. Place a marker on that row. Now work the front until you get to the same place as the marker. (You could also measure the length from the cast on to the marker then work the front until you reach that measurement.)
You want the front and back to be the same length up until the start of the front neck shaping so the armholes and body on front match the armholes and body length on the back.
Thank you so much for a clear explanation
. Even my knitting group were flumixed on what to do. Looking forward to finishing this project now . Caro
Have fun with the knitting on this great looking sweater. Kim Hargreaves is a wonderful designer.
Interesting! When I looked up “Kim Hargreaves Paisley” on Ravelry, I got this totally different one! Ravelry: Paisley pattern by Kim Hargreaves
