[FONT=“Comic Sans MS”]Hi everyone,

I need some assistance with some knitting vocabulary. I’m reading a book called Last-Minute Knitted Gifts, highly recommended. Unfortunately, I am not quite sure what they mean by ‘Join for working in the round’, page 61 of Last-Minute Knitted Gifts, by Joelle Hoverson. Could someone please clear this up for me?

Thanks,

They want you to use a method for knitting circular knitting. Circular knitting makes a completely seamless garment or object. You’ll be knitting around and around rather than back and forth so you never work on the back side of the work except in special cases.

At the top of the page is video tab and under advanced techniques you’ll see a few different methods for knitting in the round.

What are you making?
