This pattern is based on, but not an exact copy of, a Nicky Epstein patter, with a bit of Hildie thrown in… so if there’s something wrong with it, we’ll blame her not me :teehee:
GOOD LUCK!!! xxx

Knit 4 Rows
Repeat Rows 31 & 32 for 32 total rows (end w/row 32)
wait a minute…i don’t get that…
I think after you knit the 4 rows, you are supposed to repeat rows 31 and 32 for a total of 32 rows after that.
I might be wrong though.
Yeah that’s right… you’re basically going tohave 2 halves… one has a pattern, and the other is just stockinette stitch with a 2 stitch garter border.
I thought that part might be confusing, sorry about that :pout:
So now I have a quick question. Does it matter what weight of yarn you use or the size of needles?
do we not get a picture? I dont’ know about anyone else but when I get stuck on a pattern it helps to have a picture.
'Tis a secret jberry16!!!
How about the fiber? Would we be best off to use wool, or cotton or???
You can use any yarn, and needles appropriate for that yarn. A slightly tighter gauge then recommended might be better so your stuffing dosn’t come out.
If I posted the picture, it would ruin the surprise!! You’re just going to have to trust my jedgement :teehee:

Okay… there’s three extra stitches on that row.
-EDIT- It should be…
R13-K9, P2, K2, P1, K1, P1, K2, P2, K9
yep, you’re right!!! I knew I was going to type it wrong.
I fixed it, thank you
for pointing it out. I remember, I got a phone call when i was typing that row and got all screwed up. stoooooopid telemarketers.
