My stitch count is 107.
You are too kind, regarding the body of the sweater, it’s just that I did the wrong stitch through out. I feel like I should start over
Not sure what I will do.

That will work. There’s 5sts before the repeat and 6sts after the repeat.
107-11=96
96 is divisible by 8. There would be 12 repeats of the 8 stitch pattern.
I would continue with the pattern over the yoke. See if the elongated sts line up in yoke and body. Even if they don’t I would keep on with the top. It’s too nice to give up on it.
Of course, that decision is up to you.
Thanks so much. I am so grateful for this site, and for your valuable time and input! ![]()
Your top looks lovely so far.
I have to apologise for my error in describing the winding yarn twice. I explained what you had seen kn the video but as @salmonmac has pointed out, the double winding happens in the stitch not after it. That comma threw me! Thanks salmonmac. I think it threw us all, I just looked back over the earlier photos and messages and none of us picked up the difference a comma can make.
If it was me I’d continue with the top, it looks lovely and not wrong at all.
Thanks for your honesty, and acknowledging the error. Whatever I plan to do with this sweater. I am learning valuable knitting instructions, thanks again for all your help! ![]()
