I am working on a new pattern for myself…am a little confused with the above requirement…can someone show me how this is done?
k1. k1b. k1
Welcome to KH. What pattern are you using? A link to it would be great, or the pattern name and designer so we can find it. K1b should be defined in the pattern. It can mean knit one below or knit one through the back loop, two different things. Seeing the pattern would help figure it out.
It’s KB1 in the abbreviations on your pattern.
Knit into the back of the stitch.
Do you know how to knit into the back loop?
duuuuh…sorry, never saw that. So the pattern says, k1.kb1.k1 in same stitch…so I then knit 1 in front of stitch, don’t take off needle, knit into back of same stitch, then knit again into front of stitch…
Forgive me, self-taught & some of these instructions confuse me. Once I get it, I got it, right? Tks for your help.
You are correct don’t worry you can do it.
Here are some very nice and knowledgeable people that will have your back, visit as often as you want or need help or just support. Good luck
We would love to see pictures
Nothing to forgive.
Keep on asking any time you aren’t sure. The lovely thing about this forum is friendly help and no limits on how many times you ask questions. Stick around, you will learn lots from reading other people’s threads too. I have learned so much here.
Glad you’ve worked it out.
