Just finished Felt Bag

Made from Knitters Dozen Bags
I used SWS instead of her striping pattern
it did not shrink NEARLY as much as my first SWS bag did when

I followed the pattern exactly except for (and you KNEW I would)

  1. I made a loop and Knitknot/button (I-Chord)
    and
    2)I shortened the side that was not going to have the flap on it (by reducing every row instead of every other after a point)

I made this for my new GF
she was surprized, and pleased

the SWS really does felt up soft and shimmery

the shape comes from the 3 decreases every RS row
makes a V that turns into a Diamond, with stripes
Then the bag becomes itself

I may tweek the pattern someday
it Was fun to make
