Knitting is so much easier on my hands, and I really like the rhythm. Also, the fabric knitting produces pleases me more.
Just don't want to crochet anymore!
I went through the same thing when I first got the hang of knitting. I supposed even now I prefer knitting to crochet, because whenever I’m looking for the next project to start it’s usually with needles and not a hook. That said, I am so glad I know how to do both because I have the option … and there are some things crochet is just better for.
I learned both crochet and knitting when I was about 6 and until recently I’ve made a few crocheted items, 2-3 hats, but always prefered knitting. But now that i’m passionately into knitting, i started to dislike crochet, I just don’t like the way it looks and I don’t like the process. I’m using a hook only for picking up rebelious stitches. I’m not really a doilies or crocheted flowers person, so i’m ok with only knitting.
The only thing I use my crochet hook for now is picking up dropped stitches. :teehee:
I wouldn’t mind doing it as a border for a sweater or something, but I’m not likely to make anything else with it. I just don’t like crochet fabric for the most part.
