I’m trying to find a simple jumper/ dress pattern for my niece. She isnt quite a year old yet, but I want to knit her something that wont be too hot. I live in West Texas, so sweaters wont get much wear.

I’d just use a 100% cotton or cotton blend like Shine or Cotton Tots.

Have you checked out Knitty’s Anouk? It’s adjustable and made with cotton, I think :slight_smile:

orientalpurl: I’ve looked at that jumper several times and I find it somewhat intimidating :shock: , but you know what? I’m gonna give it a try anyway! I’m going to be working on it in my knitting class at the LYS so I shouldnt be afraid.
