joining seams of knitting- vertical or horizontal invisible seams?

Hi Knitters,

I’m finishing up my first project, a baby bonnet. I have to sew the seams: which technique do I use, the vertical or horizontal invisible seaming?

Or something else?

Mattress stitch works quite well for either vertcal or horizontal seams.


Which pattrn are you making? It’ll help to see where the seams are.

FINISHING

Stitch back seam of cap together. Attach band around base of cap, leaving buttonhole end 2" (5 cm) of band free at right front. Sew button on cap. Weave in ends.

I guess I that means a vertical seam right?

Yes, sounds like a vertcal seam. Very sweet cap.
