Kelly–You’re good!! :notworthy:
Awwww thanks!! We had a nice dinner at Spazzos. It’s a little italian place nearby. I had Cannelloni. Mmmmmm!
happy birthday, was the cake yummy? ![]()
Um… actually I didn’t have any real cake. :?? Everyone knows I try not to eat that stuff so no one makes one.
Okay here’s the first half of the tote bag. I hope this felts okay. I’ve been felting the color changes and I love it…no ends to deal with! The WOTA colors are cranberry, fern and violet.
Happy belated birthday, Jan!
Sorry I missed it; I hope you enjoyed Kelly’s cake
The colors of that bag are gorgeous! I can’t wait to see it all done!
I like it!! Can’t wait to see finished product!!
Those colors look FANTASTIC together! You really have an eye!! (You probably even have TWO!)
Sorry you didnt like my cake… :verysad:
WHAT! I l:heart: your cake! I just wish it was real! ![]()
:cheering:
Its like the (original) Willy Wonka wallpaper…you have to lick the screen and it tastes like SNOZZBERRIES! :roflhard:
SNOZZBERRIES!! Mmmmm…my favorite!
:roflhard:
I finished my tote bag!! Except uh…it’s now way to small to be a tote bag…  Whatever…I’ll just use it as a purse! I’ll post pics tomorrow! I still have to sew the straps on so I hope it’s ready. Hildie (I think) suggested using clear nylon thread (I think?) to sew the straps on… how do you tie a not and make it stay? That stuff is tough!
Hurray, hurrah! The tote is done…although it’s more of a purse thanks to not…ahem…following the pattern. :roflhard:
Lessons learned… Trust the pattern! …and don’t be afraid to try something new!
Oh Jan!!!
That is just BEAUTIFUL!!

SOOOO pretty, Jan!! I LOVE the way the straps are attached!!
Me too! How’d you do that?
:cheering: :cheering: Beautiful!!!
Me too! How’d you do that?
It’s an i-cord with the round thingy on the end which I sewed on after felting with clear thread. That clear thread is a pain to work with, but it is nearly invisible.
Thanks everyone!
