It's my boyfriend's birthday

He told me to wake up him before I left for work so that he could open his present to wear his gift to work. :teehee:

Pattern
Yarn in Coffee and Mocha.
Took about 2 months to knit.

He loves it! :happydance: :happydance:

:cheering: :cheering: :cheering: It looks awesome!!! It is clear that he loves it too!!!

he looks sooo proud!!! :teehee: great job!!! :cheering:

OMG. :notworthy: That is FANTASTIC! I absolutely love it! And it looks like he does too! :cheering:

wow that is so great! i love the intarsia on the back! happy birthday to him :balloons:

Thats cool! you must really like him for 2 months of knitting! :teehee:

Whoa, that is really great!!! Is he into cosplay? Tell him Happy Birthday! :present:

Thanks everyone. I’ll pass your compliments and happy birthdays along.

Oh, yeah, forgot to mention that I actually just duplicate stitched the design on the back on. The microspun did NOT lend itself well to stranded work, so I just knit it plain and dup stitched it on later.

And, yeah, I guess I like him well enough. I better! We’re getting married next year. :teehee:

That is really great, it looks so comfortable! :cheering:

It looks like a jedi robe!

If I get good at knitting (cross fingers) I’ll have to tackle that pattern. My husband lived in Japan for 2 years. He brought home a short kimono like thing to use as a bathrobe, but it wore out long ago. I think he would love this!!

Great job and thanks for sharing!! :cheering: :cheering:

Thats exactly what I thought, followed by “My husband would love that!”. What pattern is it?

Heh, I was thinking the same thing. Did he go to work later and tell them that those were not the droids they were looking for? :roflhard:

Awesome job on the kimono pattern, friskums, I love it! :cheering:

Holy cow! That looks great!

I put a link up in the first post (click on Pattern)
(I modified mine so that the sleeves are fully connected to the body, and left off the front designs.)

Yeah, he’s very pleased it turned out looking like that. We’re huge Star Wars geeks.

That’s look great! Glad he’s going to wear it. :notworthy:

Whoa! That is one lucky boyfriend.
