I just started this pattern and I’m so confused by first section. I can’t seem to get stitch right and tge sequence that they want you to use charts if that makes sense. 1744478539484119057631675552561|900x1200

Cute top! Thank you for the pattern information.
It will definitely help to use markers here between the different charts and between repeats of the A1B chart.
Work chart A1A once, chart A1B 15 times and end with chart A1C once.
For stitch numbers it works out to 13 + (15x24) + 11 = 384

Start with A1A and work from right to left along the chart. The only part of the chart that repeats is A1B (red line below).

Once the A1 charts are completed you’ll move on to the A2 charts and then A3 charts which are set up in a similar manner.

Thank you for the help I understand now but way it was worded I couldn’t make sense of it.

Lots of the Drops patterns are translations and they do have their own way of writing the directions. If you have further questions, don’t hesitate to come back and ask. It’s going to be a sweet top!

Nice top.
Something I find useful with a chart like this is a pencil line (or coloured pencil/pen) drawn all the way up between the 3 sections of chart to mark out the A1B so that when I’m knitting my eyes have an easy anchor to find the repeat beginning and also so I stop at the end of the repeat and not just mindlessly continue all the way across.
It’s not what you asked but just thought I’d share in case it helps.

I already did that lol after second round I moved my magnet row marker then the section lines at bottom weren’t visible so got handy highlighter out.

It’s a bit counter-intuitive, but I find it best to put my magnetic row marker ABOVE the row I’m working. It helps me see how the row I’m on relates to the row below that I’ve already knit.
