Introduction & seams

Hello Everyone,

I learned how to knit when I was in the 5th & 6th grade at a boarding school in North Dakota. I have just decided to pick up this great hobby again after all these years. So far I have made 1 baby blanket and 3 newborn caps. I need help with sewing the seams together. Can anyone help with seams? Happy New Year to everyone.
