Wow. :passedout:
I’d love to see Ingrid’s website but I don’t know how to find the link. Can someone tell me how to get to her profile or post a link for me?
I’m pretty new around here and not so sure how to get around.
Thanks!
Susan
I know! My husband and I took a look at it a few weeks back, it blew me away and all my husband kept saying was “how do you do that? How is that made? Can you make me one of those?” :roflhard: Ummm, yeah hon, I can’t even knit a sock, I can really whip out one of those projects! :roflhard: :roflhard:
Here’s the linky link
My question is, Ingrid, how long have you been knitting? Your things are beautiful!
First, thank you, everyone.
I learned to knit when I was about 9–just the knit stitch, from a friend’s mother. I guess I got a ‘how-to’ book at some point and taught myself the rest. I knit on and off as a teenager, an expectant mother, and a new mother. Then I stopped, except for the occasional baby item, for years.
I picked it up again about 3 years ago when my grandson came home wearing a sweater that his great-grandmother knit for him. I told him that I knew how to knit, he asked if I would make him a sweater, and once I got needles and yarn back in my hands, I haven’t quit.
Maybe it’s because I’m self-taught, or that I learned so young, I’ve never been afraid to try something I liked, so I went for it. Not always successfully, but  you learn with each new project.
They’re all beautiful and SO complex!
WOW!!! Georgous!!! :notworthy:
Ingrid:
Your work is beautiful. I want to be like you someday.

When I grow up, I wanna knit just like Ingrid!
Absolutly amazing! You are so talented! :notworthy:
I still love that mantis scarf. Does your son love it, Ingrid?
And i MUST make that fish sweater. I bought the book just for that, but haven’t gotten around it it yet! Seeing it again reminded me how gorgeous it really is!

Im inspired to start new projects I tri to stick with one project at a time. I want to knit all of my x-mas gifts, but I am not fast enough.
I know, I can do colourwork, but I could never be that good.
all i have to say is… :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: i can only pray to someday be able to do all that, wow!!!
[size=6]Wow Ingrid…I am so impressed! Have you knit all your life? That is some amazing knitting! Thanks for sharing!

wow lovely work. I wish I could do colourwork but I guess its totally down to taking the plunge and doing it; learning from mistakes etc. It scares me to do colour work but WOW Ingy your stuff is stunning! Inspires me to try!
