Ingrid has come in out of the yard

That sweater!

Goodness… it is all so beautiful!

:inlove: Preeeeettttyyyyyy!!!

SOOO nice, Ingy!!!

Ingrid, please please please post pics of your finished stuff on the Whatcha Knittin’ forum. Some of us (like me) don’t go to the Blog Threads often but we still want to see your knitting!

OK. :aww:

Gorgeous, Ingy!! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

You sure do have some pretty pics sister I love your work.

PS :notworthy: = ME

Pschyeah … for you maybe!

:teehee: You know I love your work, Ingy!!! Everything looks beautiful! I love the Malabrigo scarf, especially.

Rowan Tapestry Rowan Tapestry HI INGRID!

I’ve got to remember that because I just love the way it looks!
How ya been!??? I’ve been out of it with a bad back but I’m slowly climbing back to Being Able to Go Out again.

Love the stuff you’ve been making. The scarves are so beautiful. I like the middle one, oh now I’ve forgot which yarn it is but so soft looking, oh malibrigo maybe. duh I’m still a little unfocused.

I want to make those mittens next, I never made mittens. I’m sure they’re easier than gloves or what I made for my husband. (M’Loves: thumb and one index finger) I suppose we still have enough cold weather left to make mittens?

I’m in love with this sweater in Vogue but I can’t afford the yarn. Going to post it elsewhere… the pic I mean. It’s Reynolds Garden Tweed but the darn thing will cost me like $125 or so. But! The yarn is super beautiful.
I’m doing google searches but haven’t seen any sales on it.

My husband was a super sweetie on Valentines Day and went round the corner to the new yarn shop Knitty City, came home with a $100 gift card. What a gift! Haven’t been able to get over there yet to spend it.

Oh, I’m working (did I tell you this, I don’t think so) a skirt, 3 tiers.
It’s in Vogue. Cant believe I committed to this, some sort of insanity.
The third tier, the bottom is 660 stitches on my new Addis, size 6.
ALL STOCKINETTE. Your idea of h e l l . The Peruvian Baby Alpaca in chocolate brown. Of course it might look absolutely ridiculous on me.

Nice to see all your gorgeous stuff! ciao for now, Vic

Ingy - did you finish the sweater?

:poke: yeah!

I could have sworn I replied to Vic’s post. I wonder where it went? I do remember swooning at the thought of 600 stitches per row!

And Vic–buy the yarn. You deserve it.

I finished the body of the sweater and have knit on about a third of a sleeve. But then I got a book I’ve been waiting for and started an Aran sweater. I’ll post a pic of that later. I’m looooving it. So I’ve been switching back and forth, depending on whether I want to cable or just knit/purl.

I just searched for the post where someone was frogging a blue sweater and I loved it so much that I ordered the book, but now I can’t find it. She had started the sweater a while ago at a class and never finished it. It’s a top-down, saddle shoulder sweater.

I, personally, am not into the saddle shold look

I like the way they’re constructed–not a seam in sight!

I hate tpyos :grrr:

That sweater…

Stash buster, schmash buster. I got some sock yarn to make the Potowhatever socks–how could I resist a yarn called Ingrid’s Blues? I got the sock yarn from www.theloopyewe.com . Excellent service and some nice yarns!

Also a pic of some cotton/acrylic that I got on sale. It looks so nice knit up a bit. It’ll be good to work with in the summer, if it ever comes.

And the start of the Aran sweater from Two Sticks and String.

look at you with the fancy schmancy sock yarn (which I covet by the way). :eyebrow:

the sweater is looking fab-ewe-lous :teehee: sorry, I think it was the mention of The Loopy Ewe that kinda turned me into one. :shifty:

Oh–in addition to getting yarn in the mail today, we went to see Bridge to Tarabithia. Eh. I wasn’t all that impressed, but the boys like it so I guess that’s what counts.

I couldn’t get past the fact that the girl in it has a 25-year-old head on an 11-year-old body. At least it wasn’t Dakota Fanning. I don’t dislike her, but it seems that she’s been the only female child actress getting any roles for a while.
