Hi can anyone explain these increase instructions please.
Every foll 4th row: 1 st. x 1 time, every foll 2nd row:
3 times x 1 st., 2 times x 2 sts., 2 times x 3 sts., 1 time x 4 sts.
and 1 time x 5 sts
If you call the next row, row 1, then
Row 4 inc 1 st
Then every 2nd row will be
Rows 6, 8, 10 on these rows inc 1 st
Rows 12, 14, on these rows inc 2 sts
Rows 16, 18, on these rows inc 3 sts
Row 20 inc 4 sts
Row 22 inc 5 sts
What pattern are you making?
Thank you!! Now you’ve explained it that makes sense! Every following 4th row threw me as I thought it meant every 4th row and also every 2nd row!

It can be confusing when there are all these different sections of directions for different sizes breaking up the instruction in ways we feel unnecessarily when working them. The commas are important breaking up each step.
Enjoy making the romper.
