Increases on sweater sleeves

Hi everyone, I have been struggling to understand an Ericka Knight pattern when I get to increases on the sleeves. As soon as I think I’ve got it start to doubt again so hopefully someone out there can help me!

Pattern reads.
Next Row: K1, m1, K to last stitch, M1, K1. This sets sleeve increase. I’ve done that so all good there. Then it reads:
1nc 1 st at each end of 3(3,3,6) foll 6th rows, then on 2(2,2,0,0) foll 8th rows
(29 (31,33,35, 37) sts. fyi I’m using the 3, 2 and 33 size.

In addition to not understanding the increasing, I don’t know how many stitches I’m supposed to have on the needle before I start the 2nd part of the 8th row increase.

If anyone can write this in plain english for I’m be really grateful!

Thanks all and great to be on here.

Hi and welcome to KH!
After the first increase row you have 23sts. Call that row 1. Increase on rows 7,13,and 19 (29sts) and then on rows 27 and 35 (33sts). Two sts are increased in each increase row.

Wow that was quick salmonmac! I really appreciate your help and that explanation was super clear. Thank you soooo much
