All the videos seem to be for increases in the middle of the rows, I need to increase the first stitch, how do I do that? I am doing the Sirdar v316 Design L Bolero v neck pattern. It says ‘increase in first stitch purlways’ and later ‘work rows increasing 1 stitch at front edge in every row’…
thanks!
Based on what you are saying I think I would do a pfb.
pfb=purl front and back of stitch
Purl into to the front but do not slide loop off left needle. Then purl into the back of the stitch and slip loop of left needle. Should give you a 1 stitch increase.
An increase IN a stitch would be a kfb or pfb if it’s to be done purlwise. Other increases are between stitches.
