sounds like more “boy” then friend - tell the guy to mature a bit…
Sure you can!
Of course you can join our tea party! I haven’t seen the mugs that your talking about but I did have one i think was similar and it had a basket for loose tea and it was clear so you could see all the beautiful colors but I broke it…oops. i would love to find another one that is maybe more durable. Mario I think you are right in your observation of this “boy” .Nicely put.
Oh, my boyfriend’s learned by now that knitting is NOT mindless. Not after all the patterns I’ve shown him and the various end results. I think the thing that impressed him most was the rainbow sweater with a black double headed eagle on the back. (Man, that was AMAZING.)
My boyfriend knows that as much as I’d like to knit him a hat, that I wouldn’t have so long as he didn’t seem to care for my craft. (But hey, I don’t care for some of his hobbies either and think they can be a waste of time.) He looks through the pattern books I buy when I get them out of curiousity and actually found a hat pattern he likes! gasp Figures it’s designed after Jughead from the Archie comics.
Which is good because I was trying to imitate the pattern on his own knitted hat he’s had forever. (I’m not sure where he got it, now that I think about it.) And what with that being my first project on the round and only my second project (I am SO slack), it would probably turn out not so well.
eh, I do the same thing to my cats, but not with knitting needles, and not hard either. my cats usually give me this “whatever, man” look and go back to sleep. Though most of them like to play with bed mice at night.
Sounds like a Jughead hat might be completely appropriate!
Oh yeah, there’s no hard poking. If I thought he was poking my little boy too hard, I’d walk over and slap him, then take my needles back. Our little boy loves this kind of stuff. If you poke the little girl, she gives you a “what was that for?” meow and glare.
Point the needles at the doggy and she’ll usually curiously sniff them and end up with one getting poked in the nose 'cause she doesn’t seem to have good depth perception. XD
:roflhard:
Or train your cat to poke the Bf with the needles.![]()
I find that if I gently touch the middle of one of my cats’ backs with the point of a needle (not a sharp one), the cat’s skin will sort of creep towards the needle. It’s really weird.
