Impossible Cardigan Request

I’m looking for a free pattern for a nice easy cardigan that I can wear to church. The reason its impossible to find is because I’m looking for something that won’t look hideously boxy on someone who is small and has an hourglass figure. Plus it going to be black so i don’t really want to mess around with a bunch of cables that won’t show up. so… simply put, i’m looking for:

-easy (or intermediate) cardigan
-free
-flattering for a slim figure
-limited amount of cables (none at all is better)

Please let me know if you find anything that is even remotely close!

Okay, I am posting this because if you ignore the stitch pattern, it is a fitted cardigan. You could just follow the pattern for the sweater, without doing the lace stitch work, and it is a very nice, well fitted sweater.

I like the Lucy Lu one Jan posted - I’m printing that one out for myself. It would look great over a simple top. It looks like you could omit the tie, too, if you wanted and either put a single button or leave it open.

Me too. I like to wear spaghetti strap tops and this will be a nice topper to those I think (in my super hot TX climate)
