# I'm very confused

About these instructions which are from Knitty for the Daisy cardi.
Row 1. *k1, p1 repeat from * across row. repeat this row twice more.
Now, the picture looks like it’s seed stitch, but it’s kind of hard to tell, so o the second row, I would p1, k1 across, right? and then the third row would be the same as the first, right? But, I’m not sure if it’s suppose to be ribbing or seed stitch.
So onto my next question which is about the body:
Next row: [RS] K1, p1, k to last 2 sts, p1, k1 --102[109, 116] sts on needle.
Next row [WS] K1, p1, k1, p to last 3 sts, k1, p1, k1.

Repeat these 2 rows, knitting RS rows, and purling WS rows, always keeping the first and last 3 stitches in seed stitch until your work measures 5.5[6.5, 7.5] inches.
End with a WS row.

So, I don’t have any problems with understanding what to do except where it says to keep the first and last 3 stitches in seed stitch-that’s on the WS row, on the RS row it’s only the first and last 2 stitches. Is there a mistake in the intructions and the RS row should be K1, p1, k1 like the WS row? Or is there a mistake in the WS row?
Ow, my head hurts!
This is also the first sweater that I’ve ever attempted to make.
Thanks for helping!

Next row: [RS] K1, p1, k to last 2 sts, p1, k1 --102[109, 116] sts on needle.
Next row [WS] K1, p1, k1, p to last 3 sts, k1, p1, k1.

I read it as you K to the last 2 sts… and because the 3rd st from the end is a K then you P1,K1… you would be keeping the pattern… :happydance:

 That makes sense now! Thanks dustina!
