For those of you who received the latest Knitpicks catalog, I was quoted in the section on the Options needles, in the middle of the catalog. Yep, that was me, Alison Jacobson.
I wrote them a note shortly after them came out, and they later e-mailed me and asked to quote my note. They really chopped up my note, but the main gist is there.

Other than eternal flame and glory? Naw. And I didn’t ask. I was simply happy that they chose to use my quote. Perhaps I should have bargained with them a little for some Ambrosia yarn!

I see in your profile that you lost a loved one last year in Iraq(?). I am so sorry for your loss and I can see the anniversary of her death is coming up… my thoughts are with you. I lost my Dad this year and every time another month rolls around I am further reminded he is gone…
