I was so proud this morning when I saw my little 7 month old reaching for a book. [g] I looked away for a moment a realized he wasn’t interested in reading or looking at pictures, he wanted to eat it! LOL!!:roflhard: Now lucky me it was my novel I am reading!
Yes, kids that age generally prefer eat the books to reading them. :lol: That’s why those board books are so popular for babies.
He is putting EVERYTHING into his mouth!! I thought I had baby proofed but I think that idea is just a myth…it can’t be done!! Luckly with my twins only one boy at a time likes to be “adventurous”! LOL!!
Yummy books! Don’t worry- I think they’re still a good thing to have around!
All you can do is make sure there is nothing dangerous around which includes yarn and knitting needles because EVERYTHING goes in the mouth.

My dd is 7 months also and she loves eating books!
My year old half-rotten dog still loves eating books. :doh:
