I need an easy baby blanket pattern

I have been knitting for about three years and so far I have only made scarves. I was going to try a hat but I chickened out. Lol. Now that it’s getting warmer, I want to try a baby blanket. I need an easy pattern, preferably one that doesn’t require baby yarn. Thanks!

There are probably a bazillion baby blanket patterns. Many are very easy. Here’s a super easy one.

Do you do more than garter stitch? Hats aren’t hard and you’ll learn a lot making one.

I saw this blanket (in pink) on a stroller when I was out the other day and thought it looked really nice! I want to make one too and was going to suggest it. :slight_smile: (I have the book it is in and it doesn’t look half as nice in there. I wasn’t interested at all until I saw the one being used.)
