:woohoo:I have been wanting to learn socks and gloves forever but I was having difficulty finding someone who would teach me and not charge a arm and a leg. Well, thanks to Knitmap, I found one! They have classes 3 to 4 times a week and they all cost $5 for 2 hours! And it is not structured so that everyone has to work on the exact same thing. She was teaching all the other ladies 2 mittens at a time on Magic Loop (I think) and I was working on my sock. I even brought in my sock on Knitpick Harmonies and Knitpicks yarn and they did not make me feel bad for it. I did buy 4 skeins of Berroco Comfort to make Tropical Punch Socks when I left.
I won’t be able to return until 12/6 because we are leaving but I now know that I have a place to go and learn more knitting!
