I took the simple triangle fringed shawl on the lionbrand website and since i HATE doing yarn overs i started by casting 200 stitches onto my size 11 needles (the holes were way too big with the size 13’s… and i have 5 skeins PLUS i found a place to get more in this color although i may go and get some silver to put stripes in…)
Anyway… i’ve done about 5 rows of garter stitch, i’m thinking of going and doing a k5 on either side, doing stockingette stitch in the middle and possibly put the rune of the patron god of our tribe on it in silver (if i do this, it’ll be a gift for the lady of the tribe). I just need to figure out the graph now and how i’m going to edge it…
and yes, i’m going to go and write the pattern up when i’m done…
