Their instructions for SSK
slip 2 sts at a time knitwise to the RH needle; return sts to LH needle in turned positon and knit them together through the back loops
I know how to SSK, but what is the “turned position”?
By slipping the sts knitwise that turns the way the sts are mounted on the needle. They should be slipped separately, not together as the instruction implies. You also don’t need to put them back on the L needle, that’s an uneeded step, just insert the L needle into the front of them on the R needle and knit them together.
