Okay so I’m about halfway done with knitting my ipod cover when a gut feeling told me to go back to one of the ‘How to purl’ vids I have uploaded on my ipod. I just realized that I have been purling incorrectly.
Instead of wrapping the working yarn around the right needle counter clockwise I’ve been wrapping it clockwise. Please tell me that that’s just a minor problem and I don’t have to start over from the beginning. :help:
Unless you knit the sts on the next row through the back loop it’s going to twist them. But that’s not a real problem and for such a small item just continue it and do it the other way on the next project. And if you have been knitting tbl and have untwisted sts, you can switch to the other way and knit through the front loop.
I wouldn’t start over. If you do have twisted stitches, just call them a design feature.
If it bothers you, make another, maybe in different colors or find a different patterns. Then you’ll have 2 for your i-pod to wear differnt days depending on what mood it’s in!!
