[color=darkblue]Albert has been my swift and he does a pretty good job BUT I’m not sure which end to start the ball winder going with. It seems that the yarn is always UNDER the circle. You know what I mean?
Is there a certain end to take?
I’m thinking of getting a real WOODEN swift instead of a human one. Joann’s has a 40% off coupon code right now.

I usually grab an end, and if I find the strand is coming from the inside, I twist the skein while it’s on the swift to get it on the outside.
Man or swift, sometimes you just have to make adjustments.
The swift doesn’t argue about it, though.
