how is that gauge possible on size 1s? do we think 8st/10r was for 1" instead of 4"? that’s what i think, but…

Obviously it’s supposed to be worked in drop stitch. 
I think somebody needs to make a correction to the pattern.
If you use that method for starting the toe let us know how you like it, OK? I’ve thought about trying it but autopilot kicks in and I’ve already got most of the toe done before I remember I meant to try something else.
thanks for the confirmation and for sure i’ll share about it - it’ll be my project with a provisional cast-on. it’s another method i’ve been wanting to try.
