How to shape neck Kimono sweater

I’m making the Kimono sweater in the Filati No.41 book and the pattern is so brief that I can’t figure out how to shape the neck. This is what the pattern states:

Change to circular needle and cast on 84 sts at beg of next RS row for back side edge, cast on 84 sts of beg of foll WS row for front side edge - 241 sts. (I did all this)

Work cast-on sts in lace pat. Cont. in lace pat for 9 1/2” ending with a RS row. (I did all this)

Shape front and back neck opening: work 59 sts in pat as established, bind off 61 sts for front neck opening, bind off 10 sts for back neck opening, work in pat to end. ( I did all this)

On the next RS row, cast on 71 sts over bound-off sts - 241 sts. Work 2nd half of front and back same as for first half, binding off 84 sts each for back and front side edge.

** So my question is how do I shape the front and back neck opening for the 2nd half?

Thank you for the help

You don’t need to shape the front and back opening for the sweater as I understand it. You’ve already cast off 61+10sts and cast on 71sts on the next row over the space of the bound off sts.
Now you’re going to knit the second half front and back in the same way as the first half front and back. work the lace pattern over 241sts for 9.5inches. Cast off 84sts at the beginning of the next 2 rows and continue knitting as you did in the section before you changed to the circular needle (right before casting on the 84sts times 2).
