How to Sew? Help Me?

I bought the book Can’t believe I’m Loom Knitting by Leisure Arts.
In the book at the end of every project. It says to sew the knitted projects together. But I don’t know how to sew at all! Now I’m sad that I won’t be able to make anything from the book. Please help me? :cry::cry::cry::cry:

There are several ways to seam knitting in different situations. Mattress stitch is one of the neatest but there are other methods. Try them out on a couple of swatches just to see how they work and to see which you prefer and where to use them.

Greetings!!!

Is there nothing in the book that shows how to do that?? I’m surprised that a book like that would leave out such an important piece of information.

I would recommend looking up YouTube videos about it.
