Assuming youāve done the st st sel sts, per the patt, you should be able to do mattress st w/o too much difficulty. The detail in the bag will probably help hide small imperfections in joining. (Iām in the minority of those who really likes seaming.)
Kewl bag.

Boo hooā¦I was afraid Iād have to do that. Mattress st looks perfectly invisible, I know, and I love heart the end resultsā¦but I get a headache trying to get into the correct 'vās. oh wellā¦
Thanks anyway :yay:
As long as you always insert your ndl adjacent to your st st sel st you shouldnāt have a problem. (Not a matter of the 'correct vās.)

S is sel st, B is body of piece. Insert your seaming ndl at the Xs.

Hi Camā¦just wanted to thank you again I managed to seam the bag together without much trouble and minimum headache. Seaming is not so bad after all! Thanks!
Congrats! The more you practice the easier it gets. Perhaps you could post pic of the bag for us to see!
