How to line a felted purse?

Howdy all.

I made a felted purse (the Lopi Tote on KPC) and I think I’d like to line it. What are you recommendations on best methods for this? I’m not exactly sure how to sew or stitch or glue or whatever a lining into an already felted purse.

Also…I’m considering ditching the knitted handles and attaching some faux bamboo ones or something cuz I don’t like how the felted fabric ones stretch. I was just going to carefully cut those off…but again, how do you attach wooden handles to something like this? I’m assuming I can find a pair with some sort of attaching kit but if not, are there special fasteners?

As for afixing handles to your purse, I checked one of the Stitch n Bitch books (I just don’t remember the name). It had a pattern for a knitted purse and also instructions for knitting the handles on.
