I am making the baby sophisticate pattern by Linden Down. I am ready to knit the button hole band and collar but I do not understand the pattern. I am fairly new to knitting and feel quite intimidated by the instructions. I have watched a few videos on picking up stitches. Does anyone have a video on how to work the band once the stitches are picked up

The collar on the Baby Sophisticate is similar to the one on this cardigan. See if the directions and photos for knitting the collar help. The short rows really work quite well.
