Can anyone refer me to a video/illustration that shows me how to increase both by knitting and purling. I can’t see where the needle goes on the first stitch.

Hi There. If you look under the View Videos tab above you will see a section for increases. As there are different types, you’ll need to look at the videos to see which increase the pattern is asking you to do. There are instructions for purl increases there as well.
